Terms of Service
Operated by Capstone PropTech LLC
Plain English Summary
PastePage lets you publish HTML pages to your own subdomain at username.pastepage.co or your own custom domain. You own your content. We host it. You agree not to use PastePage to harm people or break the law. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using PastePage in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use PastePage.
PastePage is operated by Capstone PropTech LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Capstone PropTech LLC.
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of PastePage after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Description of Service
PastePage is a web hosting platform that allows registered users to publish HTML pages accessible via a personal subdomain at username.pastepage.co. Users may also connect a custom domain to serve their pages. Each user's subdomain (or custom domain) is an independent site. PastePage does not editorially control or endorse user-published content.
Custom domains. Users may connect a custom domain to serve their pages. By connecting a custom domain, you represent that you own or have authorization to use that domain. We automatically provision SSL certificates for connected domains, but do not guarantee uninterrupted SSL availability or DNS resolution. You are responsible for configuring your domain's DNS records correctly. We may disconnect a custom domain at any time if it is associated with abuse, violates these Terms, or poses a risk to the platform.
PastePage offers an optional password protection feature for individual pages. This feature is intended as a basic access deterrent, not as a security measure. Password-protected pages are not encrypted, and we do not guarantee that protected content cannot be accessed by unauthorized parties. Do not use PastePage to host sensitive, confidential, or regulated information.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
Accounts & Registration
To use PastePage you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete registration information.
- Keep your password secure and not share access to your account.
- Notify us immediately at abuse@pastepage.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use PastePage. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
One person may maintain only one free account. Duplicate accounts created to circumvent rate limits, suspensions, or subscription requirements may be terminated without notice.
Usernames. Usernames are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be changed once set. You may not register a username for the purpose of squatting, reselling, or impersonating another person or brand. We reserve the right to reclaim or reassign usernames that are inactive, misleading, or in violation of these Terms. When an account is deleted or expires after the 90-day archival period, the username becomes available for registration by others.
User Content
You retain ownership of the content you publish on PastePage. By publishing content, you grant Capstone PropTech LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, display, and distribute your content solely as necessary to operate the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or account, except for copies reasonably needed for backup or legal compliance.
You are solely responsible for your content and the consequences of publishing it. You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the rights to publish the content.
- Your content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Your content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.
AI-generated content. PastePage is commonly used to publish content generated by artificial intelligence tools. You are solely responsible for all content you publish, regardless of whether it was written by you or generated by an AI. AI-generated content is subject to the same rules as any other content — including copyright, prohibited content, and all other provisions of these Terms. It is your responsibility to review AI-generated content before publishing.
Privacy and legal compliance. If your pages collect data from visitors (for example, through analytics scripts, tracking pixels, contact forms, or cookies), you are solely responsible for complying with all applicable privacy laws — including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, and cookie consent requirements. PastePage does not inject any tracking into your pages; any data collection is your responsibility as the data controller.
We do not pre-screen user content. We may, but are not obligated to, review and remove content that violates these Terms.
Prohibited Content & Conduct
The following content and conduct are strictly prohibited on PastePage. Violations may result in immediate account suspension and referral to law enforcement where applicable.
- Phishing & credential harvesting
- Pages designed to deceive users into submitting passwords, financial information, or other sensitive data under false pretenses.
- Malware & malicious code
- Pages that distribute viruses, ransomware, spyware, trojans, or any code intended to harm visitors' devices or data.
- Spam & bulk unsolicited content
- Scripted or automated creation of pages in bulk for the purpose of generating spam, SEO manipulation, or unsolicited advertising.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Any sexual content involving minors, without exception. We report CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate fully with law enforcement.
- Illegal content
- Content that violates applicable federal, state, or local law, including but not limited to copyright infringement, defamation, unlawful discrimination, or content that facilitates illegal activity.
- Harassment & threats
- Content that threatens, harasses, intimidates, or incites violence against any individual or group.
- Impersonation
- Pages impersonating real companies, government agencies, or individuals for fraudulent purposes.
- Privacy violations
- Publishing personally identifiable information about others without consent (doxxing), or content that violates applicable privacy laws.
- Circumventing restrictions
- Using duplicate accounts, automated scripts, or other means to circumvent account limits, rate limits, suspensions, or subscription requirements.
This list is illustrative, not exhaustive. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend any account at our sole discretion.
Service Usage Limits
You agree not to use PastePage in a manner that places disproportionate or unreasonable load on our infrastructure. This includes but is not limited to:
- Publishing pages that consume excessive bandwidth or server resources (e.g., cryptocurrency miners, large file hosting).
- Using PastePage as a general-purpose file hosting or CDN service rather than for publishing web pages.
- Automated or scripted actions that place undue burden on the platform.
We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or remove content that we determine is consuming excessive resources, with or without notice.
API & Programmatic Access
PastePage may offer programmatic access to the Service, including through APIs or third-party integrations (such as MCP for AI clients). All programmatic access is subject to these Terms.
When you connect an AI client or other tool to your PastePage account, that tool acts on your behalf. You are responsible for all actions taken through your account via programmatic access, including any content created, updated, or deleted by AI clients. Authorizing a third-party tool to access your account does not transfer or diminish your obligations under these Terms.
We reserve the right to rate-limit, restrict, or revoke programmatic access at any time. You may not use programmatic access to circumvent any restrictions or limits that apply to normal use of the Service. Abuse of programmatic access (including excessive request volume, scraping, or automated account creation) may result in immediate suspension.
Subscription & Billing
Creating a PastePage account is free, but publishing pages and accessing core features requires an active paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Free trial. We may offer a free trial period for new accounts. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends. Trial availability, duration, and eligibility are determined at our sole discretion and may change at any time.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription price at renewal.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to paid features until then. We do not issue refunds or prorated credits for unused portions of a billing period.
Post-cancellation archival. When your subscription ends (whether by cancellation or non-renewal), your pages are taken offline and your data is archived for 90 days. During this period, you may resubscribe to restore your account and content. After 90 days, your archived data is permanently deleted and your username becomes available for registration by others.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing period. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before it takes effect.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and/or suspend access to paid features until payment is successfully processed. Repeated payment failures may be treated as a cancellation.
Copyright & DMCA
We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content published on PastePage infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA takedown notice to:
Email: abuse@pastepage.com
Subject line: DMCA Takedown Request
Your notice must include: (1) identification of the copyrighted work; (2) identification of the infringing material and its URL on PastePage; (3) your contact information; (4) a statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized; (5) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner; and (6) your physical or electronic signature.
We will respond to valid DMCA notices promptly and will terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms.
- Receipt of a valid abuse report, DMCA notice, or law enforcement request.
- Activity that we determine, in our sole discretion, poses a risk to the platform, other users, or third parties.
- Content that is flagged by safe browsing services (such as Google Safe Browsing), antivirus software, or other reputation systems, regardless of intent. Flagged content can harm the reputation of the entire platform and affect all users.
Suspended accounts will receive an HTTP 451 response on their subdomain. If you believe your account was suspended in error, you may appeal by contacting abuse@pastepage.com with a description of the situation. We will review appeals and respond within a reasonable time, but are not obligated to reinstate any account.
If your account is terminated for violation of these Terms, you are not entitled to a refund of any fees paid.
If you have a custom domain connected, it will be disconnected upon account suspension, deletion, or subscription expiration. SSL certificates provisioned for your domain will be revoked and traffic will stop routing through PastePage. You are responsible for updating your DNS records after disconnection.
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your pages will be removed from public access. We may retain logs and records as required by law or legitimate business purposes.
Privacy
Your use of PastePage is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using PastePage, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any content published by users on PastePage. User subdomains at username.pastepage.co are independent sites operated by their respective users. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or legality of user-published pages.
User pages may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites linked from user-published pages. Accessing third-party sites from PastePage is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Capstone PropTech LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Capstone PropTech LLC in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Capstone PropTech LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third party's rights.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of PastePage shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Idaho, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Before filing any legal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at legal@pastepage.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days. If the dispute is not resolved within that period, either party may proceed with formal legal action.
You agree to resolve any dispute with us individually and not as part of a class action or class arbitration. You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Capstone PropTech LLC.
General Provisions
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Capstone PropTech LLC regarding the Service.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms or any rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. We will notify users of any such assignment.
Force Majeure. Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, epidemics, infrastructure failures, internet disruptions, or power outages.
Beta Features. We may offer features designated as "beta," "preview," or "experimental." Such features are provided as-is, may be modified or discontinued without notice, and are not covered by any service level commitments. Use of beta features is at your own risk.
Electronic Communications. By creating an account, you consent to receive communications from us electronically (via email or notices posted on the Service). You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
